The game world is comprised of interconnected spaces where you can search for keys or other items which aid in solving challenges by combining objects in secure rooms that allow you to carry the tools you need for survival.
There are enemies who are pushed when you aren't armed with the pistols, or shotguns you encounter in the game world while trying to make sense of what and why you are doing the things you do on this mysterious planet.
The game starts off straightforward and easy, however, you'll discover that the difficulty gets more difficult as the game progresses epically, towards the end, with enemies that will come back to life, emerge from vents and floors, and more, and simple, easy, yet enjoyable boss fights that are claustrophobic and squeezing.
I would say that it is not the games blame However, if you make progress in the game significantly in the course of about two or three hours into and then you take a break for a couple of days, coming back can be hard since the game doesn't give you a list of what you are expected to do next.
